Hi, thank you for visiting my website. I’m Chinedu Nkole, my work colleagues call me Ned for short. I am a consultant in stroke medicine in one of the foremost NHS Trusts in the UK. I have over 20 years experience in general medicine and also hold a post graduate masters degree in public health from the famous London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Be rest assured that the information in my book “Blueprint to Health and Healing” and on this website is authentic and based on years of experience.
“Over the years, the incidence of diabetes, obesity, cancer, hypertension, stroke, myocardial infarction (heart attack), etc have been on the increase. You can only imagine my shock and apprehension when I developed the symptoms and was formally diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Thankfully, I was healed from diabetes after 10 years of suffering from the illness through prayer, applying the word of God on health and healing as well as applying my medical knowledge of the disease.
Get my professional perspective on the COVID19 worldwide pandemic.
I believe God let me go through those 10 years of suffering from diabetes so I can be of help not just to other people suffering from diabetes but to anyone having health challenges.
Now I treat my patients with compassion and genuine desire for their quick recovery having been once a patient myself. I go the extra mile to ensure they receive the best medical care possible.
These have guided my work ethics culminating in an award from one of the foremost NHS TRUSTS in the UK.
It is estimated that some 29 Million people in the United States have diabetes with some 8 Million people with the undiagnosed condition. When it comes to the UK the estimates for people with diabetes is in the 4 Million range of put another way 1 in every 16 people in the UK have diabetes [both diagnosed and undiagnosed].
One more consideration is that of Africa where we do not have firm data however, estimates for individuals in the continent with Diabetes are in the 20 Million range – it is said that there are some 60% of adults in the region walking around with diabetes but who are unaware of their condition.
… is that of showing signs of fatigue. There is a common misconception out there that diabetes only affects people who are overweight however, we now understand that there are many people who appear to be healthy who still end up developing type II diabetes.
It so happens that an individual can feel fatigued whether or not their blood sugar is high or low; if blood sugar levels are off then one will feel the effects. This is one reason why it is so important to talk to one’s doctor in order to try to keep the diabetes condition under control using various tools that we have at our disposal such as medication [of course], diet, exercise, and regular sleep.
This is a medical condition that is characterized by fatigue, paleness, a racing heart, as well as sometimes even upper left quadrant abdominal pain.
If someone actually has anemia their red blood cell count (this is technically known as hemoglobin) will be too low. If one’s hemoglobin is at too low a level, it can be seen to cause severe fatigue & other also other problems.
When it comes to men, hemoglobin levels that are less than 13.5 grams per 100 ml and for females, hemoglobin that is seen to be less than 12.0 grams per 100 ml is considered as being too low.
In addition to having low iron levels, if an individual happens to be short on vitamins D3 or B12 they may feel severely fatigued and maybe even experience feelings of anxiety.
This can cause a person to lose sleep – thus having the knock on effect of making one feel even more tired throughout the day.
Even though anyone is able to purchase vitamin D3 and also B12 (with folate) to help with these issues, one can say with surety that it is always best to get a blood test to rule out anything serious before beginning with any particular treatment.
Whether someone has hypothyroid (slow) or hyperthyroid (fast) they will be seen to suffer from fatigue. With that said – hypothyroidism tends to cause one to feel tired and sluggish, and in addition to this there may be the addition of feeling depressed.
When it comes to hypothyroidism there is a tendency for individuals to have feelings of anxiety, restlessness, irritability which of course all are seen to contribute to fatigue due to lack of sleep.
If one happens to feel tired even if they still have bursts of energy, it is advised to ask one’s doctor to test one’s thyroid levels so that one can remain on the safe side.
Another illness that can cause one to experience fatigue is CFS. The name itself explains it all. There are of course many and varied root causes when it comes to CFS many of which of course we are not aware of as yet.
With that said it is in fact a real medical condition that we see often characterized occurrences of fever, body aching as well as protracted exhaustion. We have seen that this particular condition has been seen to occurs after one thinks that they have recovered from another viral infection.
The condition of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is one that is in fact very difficult to diagnose and we see that it is often only given after a complete analysis has been conducted in order to discount other conditions. It is now widely recognized that this is in fact a real illness that can be managed and treated.
Many of us as individuals are going about their daily lives and walking around, driving their vehicles, going to their places of work all whilst living life in that which is a permanent state of fatigue. At times many of us are tired for reasons that cannot be explained, but when we look into things in more details; often there are quite typical reasons behind the effect which is the fatigue.
They are many and varied some of them being a lack of deep regular sleep, a poor diet, and also not getting enough different types of exercise [weight lifting, cardio, stretching etc etc].
When one experiences fatigue it can indeed be very frustrating and at times disabling based on the feeling that one has when they are unable to get things accomplished or even being able to enjoy the downtime that they have.
… after 10 years of suffering from the illness through prayer, applying the word of God on health.
I have pulled from my experiences in practicing medicine with the truth of the Bible all combined with medical research to bring The Blueprint To Health And Healing to the world.
Global spending on medicines in 2018.
Global oncology costs in 2018
Worldwide in 2015
Health expenditure as a percentage of GDP in the UK in 2018.
With my extensive background in public health and someone who is actually on the frontline battling with and tackling disease in patients – I’d like to use this as a vehicle to reaching a wider range of people whom I otherwise would not get to sit down and speak with.
